How do I find my ring size?
Rings Knife sells its rings in U.S. ring sizes. Check out our Handy Ring Sizing Guide here to find your size!
How sharp is the weapon? What can it cut?
Concealed Rings: Our concealed rings feature precision blades with finely ground edges and pointed tips. These blades are adept at cutting through fabric, plastic, and thin metal. Additionally, they can easily rip, tear, and cut through human skin, providing both protection and peace of mind.
Open Point Rings: For our open point rings, we’ve designed sharp points or beveled edges that serve as effective defensive features. These elements can inflict damage and discomfort to an attacker, enhancing your safety in critical situations.
How deep can the weapon cut into skin?
Our concealed rings feature precision blades that are adept at cutting blood vessels and targeting nerve cells. These discreet yet effective weapons provide an added layer of safety.
How do I defend myself with a self defense ring?
Precision Strikes: When wearing your self-defense ring, adopt a firm grip and deliver precise punches to an assailant’s eyes, throat, or face. These targeted strikes can create deep puncture wounds, providing an effective deterrent.
Swift Slashes: With your self-defense ring securely in place, execute a sideways slashing motion against an attacker’s eyes, throat, or face. This technique can cause long gashes, discouraging further aggression.
Strategic Maneuvers: Position your self-defense ring on the inside of your palm, ensuring the blade faces inward. In a defensive situation, grab an assailant’s arm and pull, using the ring to gouge and create a significant wound.
What can a self defense ring do for protection against an attacker?
Induce Discomfort for an Attacker: Our self-defense rings are equipped with precision blades that can target nerve cells, causing significant discomfort to an assailant.
Enhance Your Safety: Designed with sharp blades, our self-defense rings can cut through skin and blood vessels, drawing blood and creating a deterrent effect against potential threats.
Preserve Evidence: In addition to their defensive capabilities, our self-defense rings allow you to collect an attacker’s DNA through skin cells or blood, aiding law enforcement in investigations.
What’s the difference between defending yourself, and defending yourself wearing your self defense rings?
While relying solely on bare-handed self-defense may not always yield sufficient results in terms of incapacitating an attacker or preserving evidence, our self-defense rings offer a unique solution. These rings enhance your natural defensive instincts by providing the capability to rip and tear human skin, draw blood, and collect DNA—all while ensuring your safety.
What material are your rings made from?
All rings are forged from different materials including 925 Sterling Silver, 316L Stainless Steel and Titanium Steel.
925 Sterling Silver:
Composition: It is an alloy made from 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper, zinc, or nickel).
Strength and Durability: Sterling silver is more durable than pure silver due to the alloy content. It combines beauty with resilience.
Corrosion Resistance: While pure silver can tarnish, sterling silver is resistant to corrosion.
Hallmark: Look for the hallmark “sterling” or “925” to identify genuine sterling silver.
Jewelry Use: Widely used in jewelry due to its timeless appeal and affordability.
316L Stainless Steel:
Composition: It is a modified ultra-low carbon Cr-Ni-Mo series austenitic stainless steel based on AISI 316.
Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to corrosion in various environments, including phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and dilute chloride solutions.
Weldability: Can be welded without compromising corrosion resistance.
Strength: Minimum tensile strength of 70 ksi (485 MPa) in annealed condition.
Applications: Used in parts that cannot be annealed after welding, such as in corrosive environments.
Titanium Steel:
Properties: Known for its lightness, strength, and high corrosion resistance.
Environmentally Friendly: Abundant reserves and excellent bio-friendliness.
Processability: Can be formed using tools similar to those for low-carbon steel and stainless steel.
Economical Efficiency: Although more expensive per mass, its low specific gravity reduces the cost difference per volume.
Applications: Used in aerospace, medical prostheses, and building materials due to its unique properties.
Do the rings require any maintenance?
As part of regular maintenance, we recommend periodically cleaning and caring for our rings to ensure they retain their appearance and functionality. Whether you wear them as everyday jewelry or for self-defense, proper care ensures their longevity.
Can | submerge the rings in water or get them wet?
To ensure the longevity of your rings, we kindly advise against submerging them in water or getting them wet. Some of our rings incorporate mechanical features that may be adversely affected by water exposure.
